Childcare Community Access Vouchers for Mental Health Care

At The Reclaimed Collective, we believe access to mental health care should never depend on a child's abilities, neurological makeup, or how much support a family has at home.

Our Commitment to Destigmatizing Mental Health Care

We started The Reclaimed Collective to build a practice, and a community, where asking for help never feels like something to hide. Shame keeps people out of the therapy room far more often than logistics do, and we take that seriously. Every part of how we practice, from the language we use to the partnerships we build, is aimed at making care feel normal, accessible, and free of judgment. This offering is an extension of that same commitment: showing up for the whole family, not just the client in the chair.

What This Offering Is and Isn't

It is:

  • Supervised drop-in childcare for your child while you attend your therapy session with us at no additional cost* to you

  • Available to all accepted + assessed individuals of most any ability or neurological profile

  • A way to remove one more barrier between you and consistent care

It is not:

  • A membership to We Rock The Spectrum

  • A substitute for ABA, occupational therapy, speech therapy, or any clinical service

  • Available for use outside of your scheduled therapy appointment with The Reclaimed Collective

Tell me about the cost

Our preferred community vendor allows you to pay WRTS directly and receive a discount of up to $20 off your session to cover the cost of your drop-in rate. Any time beyond the covered session is paid for by you at WRTS, completely separate from your account with us.

You'll be given a voucher to bring to session for up to $20 off your therapy session, depending on the number of children you bring to WRTS and their individual staffing needs.

In short-

You pay WRTS, we reduce your therapy bill!

How It Works

1. Schedule Your Child’s Visit With We Rock the Spectrum

Families begin by scheduling childcare/play services directly through We Rock the Spectrum West Houston.

All services, payments, scheduling, and childcare arrangements are processed through We Rock the Spectrum at their established community voucher rates with The Reclaimed Collective.

2. Complete a Safety & Fit Assessment

Before participation, We Rock the Spectrum will complete a safety assessment to ensure the environment is an appropriate fit and that the team can safely support your child’s individual needs.

This program is designed to support children whose needs can be safely accommodated within the available space, staffing, and resources of We Rock the Spectrum.

3. Receive your voucher at every drop off when you have therapy at The Reclaimed Collective

Once approved, participating families will receive a voucher that can be redeemed toward eligible mental health services with The Reclaimed Collective.

Barriers to care shouldn't come from anywhere, including the parts of life around the therapy room.

Every child deserves access, no matter how they move through the world, that's why we're the only practice offering a partner voucher to redeem the cost of childcare off of your session fee*.

Independent Businesses

Each organization remains solely responsible for its own services, policies, staff, billing, insurance, and professional obligations.

Nature of Services

We Rock the Spectrum West Houston provides supervised recreational play and related services within its scope of practice. WRTS is not providing psychotherapy, behavioral health treatment, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), medical care, psychological services, or clinical interventions through this program unless expressly contracted by the family through another provider independent of this voucher program.

Client Privacy

Participation in this program is voluntary.

Clients acknowledge that requesting or redeeming a Community Access Voucher necessarily permits limited information to be shared between The Reclaimed Collective and We Rock the Spectrum West Houston for administrative purposes, including verification of voucher eligibility and redemption.

As a result, participation may inadvertently disclose that the client is receiving or seeking mental health services from The Reclaimed Collective. However, no information regarding the reason for treatment, diagnosis, treatment goals, progress, clinical records, or the substance of any therapy session will be shared unless separately authorized by the client or otherwise permitted or required by law.

Clients who wish to avoid this limited disclosure should not participate in the voucher program.

Families are solely responsible for determining whether the services offered by WRTS are appropriate for their child and family.

WRTS Eligibility and Safety Determinations

We Rock the Spectrum West Houston retains the sole and exclusive authority to determine whether a child can be safely accommodated within its environment based upon staffing, available resources, behavioral presentation, medical considerations, and the safety of all participants.

WRTS may deny enrollment, suspend participation, request early pickup, modify participation requirements, or discontinue services at any time in its sole discretion if it determines doing so is necessary for safety, staffing, operational, or clinical reasons.

Financial Responsibility

Families remain solely responsible for all fees charged by We Rock the Spectrum West Houston. Payments for childcare or play services are made directly to WRTS according to its current fee schedule.

The Reclaimed Collective reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the program without prior notice.

To the fullest extent permitted under Texas law, participation in this voluntary program constitutes acknowledgment that The Reclaimed Collective assumes no responsibility for childcare services, supervision, transportation, injuries, incidents, or damages arising from services provided by We Rock the Spectrum West Houston or any other independent third party.
