Her work has ranged from distributing food and developing mentoring program training materials to visiting youth centers and nursing homes and supporting nonprofit events. At the core of all she does is a deep value for showing up, taking action, and truly listening to people’s stories.
Professionally, Irelita has spent many years in government contracting, including seven years supporting the Department of Defense Contingency Response Force and the Civilian Expeditionary Workforce. Recently, she made the intentional decision to reclaim her time and pursue her advanced degree, with the goal of serving local communities full-time and more directly.
